Magic Enters Our Event Venue
Some events stay in the memory for a long time – because they surprise, delight and immerse you in a completely different world for one evening. That was exactly the case at the exclusive WICKED event. To mark the cinema release of the new film, the Berlin-based agency “Das Kartell” turned our historic venue in Berlin into the stage for a magical staging that captured the film's unmistakable character and brought it to life in our Magazin.
With around 100 invited guests plus another 50 or so people from production, technical crew, organisation and staff, the event impressively demonstrated just how versatile our spaces are. Where corporate events, gala dinners or conferences usually take place, a cinema-ready world full of magic, colour and special moments emerged within the shortest possible time.

Historic Ambience Meets Imaginative Staging
The special charm of our event venue lies in its versatility. The historic building offers extraordinary architecture, generous spaces and an atmosphere that can be reinterpreted again and again. It was exactly these qualities that made the venue the perfect backdrop for the WICKED event.
With atmospheric lighting, lovingly crafted decoration and a well-thought-out spatial concept, an environment was created that captivated guests the moment they stepped inside. The venue’s characterful architecture blended perfectly with the fairy-tale styling, giving the event a very distinctive feel – playful, mysterious and glamorous all at once.
Film-Ready Execution for Guests and Production
Bringing an event like this to life takes far more than the right setting. Alongside the guest experience, the requirements of an extensive production team also had to be taken into account. In total, around 200 people – guests, crew, technical staff and organisers – were on site.
Our flexible spaces provided ideal conditions for the reception, event area, technical setup, backstage zones and production workflows. Thanks to the versatile room layout, different requirements could be met simultaneously without compromising the guest experience.
The combination of modern event technology, historic ambience and bespoke design made for a smooth run of the event and created an impressive staging. It's exactly this flexibility that makes our venue a popular choice for film productions, corporate events, product launches and brand activations.
