The Magazine in the Heeresbäckerei is easily accessible by public transport. Bus lines 140 & 240 stop right in front of our door. The U-Bahn station Schlesisches Tor is about 600 meters from the Heeresbäckerei. If you arrive by S-Bahn at Warschauer Straße or Ostbahnhof, you can reach us within 10-15 minutes on foot or in just a few minutes by bus.
The Magazin in the Heeresbäckerei has a wheelchair-accessible platform lift at the main entrance. If needed, we can also provide a wheelchair ramp for easy access to the building. A wheelchair-accessible restroom is available on the ground floor.
Yes! Our wonderful Courtyard spans approximately 500 sqm. This beautiful outdoor space, with its small wooded area, is the perfect setting for summer parties, outdoor catering, or as an additional event area during your event. We look forward to your creative ideas!
Yes, we provide 3 parking spaces per event on our premises. If additional parking is required, we have the option to rent up to 120 additional spaces. For arriving buses, we can offer a parking solution either on our property or at a designated stopping zone directly on Köpenicker Straße. Additionally, there are also public parking spaces available in the surrounding area.
Due to our close proximity to Berlin Ostbahnhof, there are numerous hotels and accommodations of various price ranges in the immediate area. Find accommodations at visitberlin or at booking.com.
At our venue, technical services, beverages, staff, and security are always handled in-house. Catering, furniture, and decoration are flexible, but upon request, we are happy to recommend our trusted service providers.
Yes, since 2022, the *Magazin* in the *Heeresbäckerei* has been an official *Sustainable Partner* of *Visit Berlin*. Our events are always carried out in a CO₂-neutral manner, in cooperation with NatureOffice. After evaluating each event, we compensate for the CO₂ emissions by supporting various projects. Additionally, a detailed report on the emissions generated and a certificate acknowledging the contribution are provided.
